GES CDP is to encourage and support employees to ensure continuous learning and actively pursue their career development as an integral element of their employment with the Company.
The company acknowledges that continuing career development contributes to the personal job satisfaction, workplace productivity, reward and recognition.

  • The Company will develop and implement a range of programs that enhance capabilities of employees to contribute effectively to the Company's mission and strategic goals as well as to realize their own professional goals.
  • Employees are encouraged to take an active role in their professional career development.
  • GES will secure the necessary our resource and budget for CDP and provide resources in accordance to the approved IDP.
  • GES will monitor employees’ participation, learning outcomes of IDP on an ongoing basis.

Mentor and Support Runner

To effectively support the growth of our employees,
we have unique assignment of "mentor" and "support runner".

What is “Mentor”?

Mentoring is a system of semi-structured guidance whereby experienced person shares his/her professional knowledge, skills and career experience to assist our employee (so calls "mentee") to progress his/her careers. Mentors need to be readily accessible and prepared to help our employee (mentee) when they need.
Mentoring is more than ‘giving advice’, or passing on what your experience was in a particular area or situation. It's about motivating and empowering the other person to identify their own issues and goals, and helping them to find ways of resolving or reaching them - not by doing it for them, or expecting them to ‘do it the way I did it’, but by understanding and respecting different ways of working.

What is “Support runner”?

Assigned individually by the director of people development. Support runner should act and accompanying together like “Support runner” in the marathon. he/she should train, guide, and promote skills to help individuals gain employment, change careers, advance in their careers, or find career options that match their client’s aptitude or skills. In addition they may discuss job opportunity and define realistic career goals for individuals. They also teach career and employment skills that guide individuals using their services.

CDPの活動サイクルは、年次パフォーマンスやキャリアの方向性について、上司やメンターと話し合い、IDP(個人育成計画)を作成する事から始まります。IDPは 3年ごと、一年間に最低8時間の教育で構成されており、組織単位もしくは個人単位での柔軟な計画とスケジューリングが可能です。このフレームワーク内で、法的義務、または会社のポリシーまたはシステムを活用するにあたって、随時必要とされるコンプライアンス関連のトレーニングも行われます。

The undertaking of CDP activities should be discussed by the employee with their supervisor at the time of the annual performance, planning and development meeting and create the employee's Individual Development Plan(IDP).A guideline of IDP education every three (3) years consist of eight (8) hours of education in 12 months is a minimum, and allows for flexibility in planning and scheduling at the organisational unit and individual level. Within this framework, employees should undertake any mandatory or compliance-related training required from time-to-time as it relates to statutory or legal obligations or application of Company policies or systems.

IDPは、将来または次の年度に達成したいことを計画し、キャリアアップにむけて目標を達成できるよう、社員一人ひとりのスキルを開発して行くための文書です。
これらの実績と計画に基づき、GES社員は、教育支援を受けることができます。

IDP is a document that states what an employee wants to achieve in the future or in the next year and gives a plan for developing their skills so that they are able to achieve their aims.

教育には、段階別教育(Part A)と特定のスキルや資格取得に着目した目的別教育(Part B)にくわえ大学での単位取得を目標とするアカデミック教育プログラム(Part C)があり、実績と計画に基づいて選択することができます。

Education includes stage-based education (Part A), objective-based education focusing on acquiring specific skills and qualifications (Part B), and academic development programs (Part C).
And can be selected based on the plan.
